Jim Hill on Pixar’s Inside Jokes
I am among the freezeframe geeks that spawned the creation of the Simpsons’ Comic Book Guy, so I was delighted to see Jim Hill’s vidcap-tastic review of Pixar’s many, many Inside Jokes.
I have to admit I was brimming with glee when Geri from my favorite of the Pixar shorts, Geri’s Game, showed up in Toy Story 2.
Can’t say I see the Pizza Planet truck in that Incredibles chase scene, though.
Two Notes on How Sadly In Love I Am With My Dog, Bowser
Bowser’s 2007 Xmas Card Photo is up on Flickr. We spent a half an hour taking photos and another 20 minutes trying to figure out which was the most adorable. What have I become?
Further in the “What have I become?” file, Boingboing had a link to a video of Jayne Mansfield doing the twist with a Chihuahua. I fastforwarded past the buxom, undulating pinup in order to see the adorable Chihuahua. I may as well invest in a reindeer sweater and a “Hang in there!” poster today.
They can even suck the joy out of sex scandals.
I liked it better when it was just a bunch of anti-homosexual “Moral Majority” Republicans being forced out of the closet in increasingly amusing ways.
Ted Klaudt, formerly of the South Dakota legislature with a failed Senate run, raped his two foster teenage daughters 10 times to test their fertility after one of them expressed interest in becoming an egg donor. This took place on several occasions and was helped along by Klaudt’s pretending to be a female official from an egg-donation program using a fake email address.
