Delicious Library 2.0 came out and I was able to publish my DVD library after fooling around with it (you’ve got to sort your library by title, otherwise the sort order is random when published.. The game library is published there as well.
You can check out all the DVDs I own here so you know what to steal next time you’re over the house.

A budding citizen journalist browsing Flickr for pictures of gamers stumbled upon a picture of me looking fat and holding a copy of Gears of War that was taken for my now-failed 365 Project.
I imagine my bloated visage just screamed “representative gamer” and thus she chose to include me in her article on the Chinese government’s restriction on online gambling.
I’m famous!

The New Extended Trailer that Japan gets with Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix+.
It definitely continues tradition of incredibly confusing visuals that seemingly have nothing to do with the series except for a few key aspects, but this time we actually see Sora and, reassuringly, Mickey. Hopefully we’ll visit some new worlds this time around and Jiminy won’t be so discerning in the tasks he needs completed.

Mario & Sonic are finally coming together for their first game, and it’s an odd one.
The good:
- Miyamoto is “very closely involved”
- Sonic Team, responsible for the rash of truly awful recent Sonic games, is NOT involved.
- It’s for the Wii and the DS
The odd:
- It’s officially licensed by the International Olympic Committee
- It has events like ping pong, swimming and the 100 meter dash.

Do you know how long I’ve waited to pretend I’m a flying hermaphrodite again?!
And it’s for the Wii! It’ll be like having a flying hermaphrodite IN MY HAND!

More like God of War 2: Be Continued, am I right folks?
I finished the game in just over 12 hours. It may sound short, but that was in two sittings. Now it’s 3:20 in the morning and my eyes are too parched to sleep.

I’m fairly sure I stole this from somewhere but at the time it felt original.
Inspired by VGcats:

Go check the rest out.

While I’m not one to scoff about running a ton of exposed wiring around my living room, the Wii’s presence underneath my projector screen when I had moved all my other electronics across the room irked me. It bothered me so much that I stopped playing it (it helped that I had to start all my games over from scratch and the 360 was currently occupying my time) and left it disconnected over with the other electronics.
Well, a couple of things changed that. First, I bought Wario Ware when it was released and it’s been sitting unopened, begging me to play. Second, the Geek from the Weekly Geek podcast owned up to using candles to replace his sensor bar.
Allow me to nerd out and explain: The sensor bar does not receive any information from the remote nor does it send any information back to the Wii. All it’s comprised of is a bunch of IR transmitters on either side of the bar that the Wiimote uses to position itself in relation to the screen. The wire that connects it to the Wii serves only to power the bar. Therefore, you can replace your sensor bar with any two sources of IR light which just so happens to be pretty much any light source. Such as candles.
So no, I’m not on a date with my Wii. The candles serve a purpose other than making the room that much more romantic.
Although I did get a little too into Wario Ware.
